Boiling Spring Lakes

Boiling Spring Lakes

Boiling Spring Lakes is a 23.3sq mile community, adorned by 50 natural and man-made lakes, nature trails, parks, playgrounds, golf, and disc courses. The community is named for the boiling spring that feeds the community's lakes with 43 million gallons of crystal clear water each day. It is said that indigenous peoples drank from the spring before setting out on fishing quests in the Atlantic, believing that the sacred waters would ensure a safe trip home. Tall pines, oaks, and sweet gums are home to lovely damsel flies, red-cockaded woodpeckers, and other enchanting wildlife. Boiling Spring Lakes is a fantastic place for the nature-lover to raise a family or retire.
