Southport

Coastal Living Magazine named Southport "America's Happiest Seaside Town" and its easy to understand why. Picturesque beauty, rich history, friendly residents, fantastic shopping, and great dining options are just the start of Southport's appeal. The Cape Fear River kisses the Atlantic Ocean just beyond the waterfront. Lovely cottages adorn every block. Ships and small boats dance down the river. Dolphins feast in the plentiful waters every evening at sunset. Maybe I'm biased, but Southport truly is perfect. It is a slice of heaven on a silver platter with extra whipped cream and a cherry on top.
